I was tired of rolling out of the driveway, or havining it just pop out..i replaced tbe rear shoes, and that helped, but i needed the lever to stay engaged....
All in all, it wasnt bad, took me 3 hrs. Its the first time i did it.. so if it has to cone apart again itll take me an hour next time..

As a person who needs to replace the misplaced e-brake button on his E24... this one’s gonna hurt.

only if you love bmw’s silky smooth straight 6, and the pleasure of rowing your own gears without the worry of the automatic trans taking a shit on you! so in short, yes.

I’ve been working at a bmw dealer for 7 years and have only seen 3 of them. and no one was in a rush to give them up!
